The global art community is coming together to support the people of Venezuela. Through art, generosity becomes action — and action becomes relief, recovery, and hope.
One Heart for Venezuela unites artists, collectors, galleries, institutions, and patrons around a single purpose: to support emergency relief and long-term reconstruction in Venezuela. It is an initiative of the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation — turning the resources and reach of the international art world into meaningful, measurable assistance.
Ella Fontanals-Cisneros, founder of the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, on why the art community is standing with Venezuela.
On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes — magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 — struck north-central Venezuela less than a minute apart, near the coastal city of Morón, roughly 100 miles west of Caracas. They are among the strongest to strike the country in more than a century, and more than 430 aftershocks have followed.
The shaking collapsed hundreds of buildings and damaged homes, hospitals, and schools across Caracas, La Guaira, and neighboring communities. The needs are immediate — shelter, clean water, food, and medical care — and enduring, as families begin the long work of rebuilding. One Heart for Venezuela was established to help meet both.
